Supervising contact
We understand how busy social workers are, so therefore our staff will supervise contact within the community and within homes during social and unsociable hours.


Social work assessments
Welfare First provides social work assessments to local authorities, fostering agencies and courts.
Our social workers are experienced and competent and can complete the following assessments:
- Form F assessments - Parenting assessments - Connected Persons assessment - Risk assessment- Age assessments- Section 7 and 37 reports.
Direct work with parents
We offer direct work with parents covering the following:
Parenting support, Budgeting, Domestic abuse support, including work with parents on the impact of domestic abuse


Accommodation Support
Welfare First has opened its first children's home; Hibbard House in East Lancashire, the Residential home will accommodate two children between the ages of 6-17 years at any one given time.
Welfare First Ltd also offers staff to support Local Authorities when they receive emergency referrals out of hours to accommodate a child/family or a young person and we will transport them as well.
